variety & focus
Some graduates starting with us have a clear idea of an area of law they prefer. Usually, it’s one in which they did well at university or learned about during a clerkship. Other graduates have no idea at all. Regardless, we want you to keep an open mind because many of our lawyers end up practicing in an area they had not considered originally.
During the Graduate Development Program you will experience one six-month rotation and two five-month rotations through different practice groups. During these rotations you’ll be exposed to a range of areas of law, and will be doing real work on real matters. You will have plenty of time and opportunity to discover the sort of work that inspires you most and suits your skills, interests and personality.
That's the point of rotations.
Working together in the areas that matter
At Corrs, you won't be pigeon-holed by your specific practice area because we also structure our legal services according to the needs of our clients in a way that reflects their markets and industries.
So even though you may specialise, you'll be working with lawyers from other groups across bigger matters, sharing their expertise to provide integrated solutions.
